I guess Microsoft was right when they said Sony wouldn't have the resources or know how to do this.

Is it just me, or does Home always look like the Citadel from Mass Effect?

Err....Home gets delayed and suddenly Sony don't know how to 'do this'?

Microsoft has a history of delaying products like: Windows Home Server, Microsoft Office 2008, Windows Vista, RTM etc. because of "performance issues".

Looks like Microsoft don't know how to 'do it' either.

Certainly looks that way.  At the very least, it is clear Sony massively underestimated the massive amount of resources needed for the Home undertaking.

As it clearly looked like MS 'massicely underestimated the massive amount of resources needed for' Vista/Office 08/Home Server/RTM undertaking

The bolded and the unbolded were to seperate statements on two seperate issues.  Sorry, I should have used paragraphs.  I agree with people that say it's better to delay the Beta than to release it unready, but that doesn't mean Sony accurately gauged the resources necessary to create and maintain Home.

Microsoft rushed the 360 and ended up with Rrod because they realized they needed to launch before the PS3 to secure third party support.

Sony made a rushed decision to create Home when they realized they were going to get PAWNED in the online arena.

MS made a mistake with rushing the 360 onto market. 360 RROD issues has been overcome by the success of the 360 with stellar games being released in its first two years mainly due to Halo 3 and Gears of War and countless third party games and increasing popularity of XBox Live.

+1

Thank you for saying that.  Lots of Microsoft supporters wouldn't say that.

You're all right, 'mate'.

But yes, sony did rush home, obviously, as we can see.  ;_;

Meh, whatever. I would really like it if they could roll out things like In-game XMB and other game enhancements with Home sometime soon, but it looks like this wont be the case and we'll have to wait.

Right now, homework and final exams are a little more important than whining at this or even the MGSO delay. In fact, I should thank Konami for the delay of their beta because otherwise I wouldn't have been able to get as much stuff done as I have without it.

Trust me you don't want a broken home so stop whineing and let the testers and sony do their job.

Incert Witty Comment on how i'm a fanboy of all systems including PC here.
