Didn't Spain used to be PS country? The Switch seems to be dominating at the moment. Props to Nintendo.

Not entirely.

Spain has always liked handhelds and Sony home consoles. So Nintendo has always done quite well as long as their console is a handheld, and of course their other home consoles didn't do too bad either.

They never really liked Xbox, so seeing Xbox ahead of PS during some weeks is insane.

Would like to know how much Metroid Dread sold. Great to see it charting again, same for Super Mario Odyssey.

Any way to compare NSW 2020 with 2022?

2021 was ~490K YTD vs 519K for 2020, so I believe 2022 thus far is on pace to top 2020.

Also, the situation at this point is more of a buy whatever console you can find rather than buying the console you want to get. And Sony is the one struggling the most to keep a steady supply.

Please excuse my bad English.

Pretty much. Every time I've gone to a retail store, I've seen people asking for the new consoles and exiting empty handed. Most stores don't even dedicate space for the consoles, because they just don't come, better to just put other products there. At this point I'm not even sure if they even get stock, or if they just sell the consoles online.

You know it deserves the GOTY.

If the stock problems continue maybe the shelf space will be reduced too.

And this a problematic for a good sales in the long run.

That's rough. I'd dare say this isn't bad just for Sony but for gaming as a whole in Spain. Hopefully these supply issues will be solved soon.

It's actually bad for everyone. If you pay attention to the Global hardware sales, PS5 is down year-on-year most of the weeks.
