Forums - Nintendo - SMG is giving me carpal tunnel

And yes, Dick Dale is awesome, I'm still looking for a good version of Misirlou. *sigh*

Just checked iTunes... God bless Apple. Awesome version.

Again, Apple tricked me into spending two bucks on a song I already owned (though not complete). I needed both versions.

Holy shit, I just learned there is a difference between Misirlou and Miserlou.

Damn, learn something new every day.

I'd say that getting 60 stars isn't too big of a problem. However, the next 60 are a lot more challenging. Some have mentioned the Dare Devil Stars, as well as DreadNaught and Luigi's Purple Coin Challenges, as they require perfection. Definitely some of the toughest challenges this generation.

I'm glad you're enjoying Galaxy, as it's one of the best games I have played in a long time. ^__^

Eh, I'd say there are a handful of difficult levels. I did really enjoy the challenge of the Luigi coin level, though. Anyone getting tired using the waggle is just overdoing it. My problem isn't moving too much, it's the delay from having to waggle rather than pushing a button. It's hard to shake twice and get 2 independent movements to register from it. It's not as fast. Any game that requires fast response should not map to shaking, imo. Wiimote use should be pretty comfortable, though...I'm not sure why you need to stand during Wii Sports, either. Warioware makes more sense to stand if you are doing the "big cheese" stance but tha can be played sitting as well.

Well If I play for a very long time it starts to hurt. I know my friend suffers from pain in his hands when he played LoZ:TP for to long. I guess it could happen with any wii game.

I have to admit that when I first saw this thread, I pictured rocketpig standing up, swinging the Wiimote like a lasso the way that emo/punk/goth girl did in the original Rayman Raving Rabbids trailer.

Found it! Skip ahead to the 1:45 mark to see her get down!

Thank you so much for that.  Next time I visualize Rockpet (it happens all the time, believe it or not), I will only see that exact girl doing that exact move.

 Holy shit.

I came back here to find the link to that awesome commercial again, and just now realized I spelled "rocketpig" as "Rockpet."  I must've been drunk as hell.  Wow.

Good times.

Well... as you were, VGC.

I don't understand why people need to shake it so much that it becomes a problem. I jumped on most my enemies or shot them with a star bite and just ran into them. It's rare that you really need to shake and definitely not something to spam.

Only discomfort I had with SMG was after probably an hour or two playing my hand holding the numchuck would hurt - I think I either grip it too tightly or it's just too small for my hand.

For some reason, I assumed you called him "Rockpet" purposely. Anyways, I have that commercial saved on one of my Youtube playlists. :) I wonder if that girl will one day hate herself for being in such a cheesy commercial, or love herself for being in such a cheesy commercial. I hope she can find peace and become one with the cheese.
