1.) No, a normal DVD player will only read the side that has the normal DVD.

And with everytime specs are released on this game its suddenly less and less impressive everytime, I wouldn't be surprised if it only took up a whole Blu-Ray disc because they chose to uncompress its data. Good luck with loading times.

Sony doesn't have a winner here. I'm sorry, you backed the wrong horse, though I could have told you that with Sony's business ethics surrounding the PS2 and PSP. I could care less about the 360 too, but if it hurts the PS3, I'll back its ports. I also love the baseless retorts of Sony fans claiming anyone not them doesn't know what they're talking about. because you know, Hideo Kojima is a reliable source, lol.

The 360 has a powerful start in the market with Halo 3 on the horizon. And you're trying to convince us the Ps3 has a fucking chance? Yeah, we're the ones who don't know what we're talking about.

Come on now boys and girls, enough s**t slinging. I find it midly irritating that whenever things get a bit tense, the thread reverts into a childish bash fest. This isn't a gradeschool popularity contest, at least attempt to act a little more like mature and respectful people, as opposed to a pack of bickering monkeys flinging pooh.

On top of all that, Metal Gear on the original Xbox did not even sell well.

And you're going to base the fact that MGS4 will indeed be released on the 360, that it will indeed be on 2 disks or less from an uncredited gaming mag, which a snippet of that article started to spread after someone posted it on an Xbox forum?

With all due respect, I never said or hinted that I am rooting for the PS3, 360, or Wii, and I currently don't own a next-gen console; I am perfectly situated as of now with my PS2. Don't go pulling out rabbits from different hats if you don't know how to come across in an argument.

Yeah, I'm talking about his statement that PS3 fans are the childish. Hey, maybe they are, but I don't really see any other side (in this particular case, the 360 fans) being any less childish.

Games by garbage developers like the ones who made Sonic, Full Auto, Madden, Ubisoft, EA, and Activition... yea... by their devs are idiots... and have always.. its seems 1st and 2nd party devs have no trouble with the console... so whats 3rd party's excuse.

 Uh...because if somebody owns a 360 already, most can't afford a PS3 on top of that.  Getting MGS4 or FF XIII on the 360 would be great for 360 owners...just like it'd be great if PS3 had Halo, even though that'd be the weirdest thing ever.

My point is that it is childish to bash a game if it's not going to your particular console and then make a big deal when it is. Again, people have to decide if they are going to root for the game or not, regardless of the end platform, and stick to it. Taking your Halo example, if I were to call out Halo as being vastly overrated because it is not on the PS2 and then have a forum orgasm because it is finally granted a port onto the PS2, then I am an a-hole...and childish too.
