why do you need a crappy port on 5-6 DVD or on 1-2 with worse quality ? Just to say, that this game is not exclusive to ps3 ? It`s lame.

Because it will harm the PS3 and Sony, that's why. Also, I doubt it will be 5-6 discs, keep telling yourself the Blu-Ray is huge and that MGS4 will be using every last centimeter of the disc, but I think you'll find the game to be anything but that.

Oh by all means, I can't wait to see the PS3's unbridled success because you know, 600 dollars will be less expensive by then, lol. I've had people like you tell me each of the said games would be system sellers and later recant it with, oh no, those weren't system sellers, what are you talking about. With an estimated 250 dollar loss on each unit sold don't expect the PS3's price tag to drop anytime soon.

And its kind of hard to have exclusives outside of their inhouse department when their sales are so dismal. Sony has only reported a 2billion dollar loss and their stock keeps taking pot shots. Sure they'll have God of War 3, but that's about all. Developers are abandoning them and market analysist are laughing at them. Sorry to tell ya, but this isn't going to be like the PS1 and PS2.

OK... Kojima stated he will have trouble putting the game on the 50GB Blu-Ray disc... so... if this was to happen.. there would be like 15 DVDs.. remember each DVD has to contain the main game engine. Plus Kojima's comments of the PS3 being like a theater would become a joke and what Kojima says always holds truth. Also original source is a post on the xbox forums that was deleted.

Keep telling yourself Sony will be okay, that everything will be one up for Sony, but the fact of the matter remains, things are looking Grim and I dread seeing the framerate lag/drops of MGS4 PS3 version. Hell, the Ps3 can barely handle the games on it now and you're expecting to somehow magically handle this alleged graphical behemoth?

Oh and it wouldn't be unfeasable to release a special edition HD-DVD version of the game in addition to the regular game for the 360 for those who don't want a multi-disc game.

do people honestly think that a 12 hour game like MGS needs more than 50 gigs? If they program it for 360 it will easily fit on a DVD.
