“In this regard, we really need to pay tribute to France, because in six months they were able to do what we expected the US to do for a year and a half...

The French have done the basics:

– Reduced bureaucracy as much as possible;
- Developed a short and effective programme;
- Immediately enrolled people for training; - did not f*ck with the language (i.e. they did not look for excuses);

There was no language issue at all, everyone who could speak and understand English immediately started training, the pilots were selected with good knowledge, but for some reason the French are the ones who teach people, while some only raise the bar and stall.

We once mentioned what kind of support we can count on, so after the announcement that Mirages will be modified for ground operations, we are definitely ready to say that the French are ours”.

Really feels like Ukraine is "soloing" Russia, North Korea and Iran. All of America's so called enemies. You know, maybe we should assist the country even more that is fighting countries that want us dead? Might be a powerful ally to have in the future, no? Rather than slowly let them bleed out because we're too afraid of the countries that we've been preparing our militaries for...What did we spent all this money for on our militaries, Lol.

Also South Korea should be doing a lot more for Ukraine now that North Korea is directly involved, South Korea needs to wake up their giant military industry in support of Ukraine, WTF are they waiting for? What does South Korea think Russia is giving North Korea in return? Boxes of chocolates and flowers? C'mon man, they're going to help them grow more powerful to threaten South Korea.

It's bad that Iran and NK are helping Russia, but they're not real enemies of the USA.

NK is isolationist, they've been demonizing the US for purpose of controlling, brutally oppressing, their own population. The same ploy Israel is using now, everyone is out to get us, you must do what we tell you to do. All NK does is show their own population look how strong we are, we will defend you against the barbarian hordes outside our borders (or go after you if you don't fall in line). Kim Jong Un knows full well any attempt to actually attack other countries will be swiftly dealt with.

Iran is the same nowadays. They fight using their allies (just like the US/Europe) but have no desire to start a full scale war (just like the US/Europe)

NK and Iran are selling to and helping Russia because of sanctions, they need money like every other country. And as I said, they need to keep their deterrence up to keep the support of their population (the chosen ones that is, the rest can be controlled with military might)

That's the problem with general sanctions, driving rogue countries towards each other. The population suffers the most while the regimes get more tools (they hate us, poverty taking tools away to oppose the government) to control the people.

Weapon shipments between Iran and Russia, NK and Russia can be intercepted and should be redirected to Ukraine.

Why does NATO not want boots on the ground in Ukraine?

Likely because this is working for them. Making money from the war while diminishing Russia's capabilities. And no backlash at home for getting directly involved in another war.

Kinda the same as what Marwan Bishara says about why the US isn't putting any leverage on Israel

"When push comes to shove and America thinks Americans interests are at stake they put the necessary leverage on the Israelis to do what the Israelis must do as a client Rogue or not Rogue."

"In this case for me and this is probably the most important line I will say today maybe I'll say this year: Is there any reason why the United States should pressure Israel when the elections are coming, when American interests are being served, when Arab leaders continue to beg and appease the American administrations, when the Palestinians are divided, when the Europeans continue to walk in the American footsteps."

"Why should Biden use political Capital, use leverage with a Netanyahu government right now when there is no one asking for it in the Middle East, not really."

American interests are being served by having Ukraine bleed to diminish Russia's war machine :/ Military aid, weapon shipments, makes them money. Boots on the ground costs money. Sadly it's as simple as that :(

As for South Korea, they could indeed help Ukraine more. Further ties between NK and Russia only make reunification between North and South Korea further out of reach.

Another side effect from the prolonged Russia-Ukraine invasion. The longer the West lets this drag on, the worse the fallout gets.

Macron annoys me sometimes, like how he seems allergic to working with left wing parties, but I do believe his concern about European security and independence is genuine and he wants to strengthen Europe to protect itself from Chinese, Russian influence and wean Europe off America which is what we should have done a long time ago.
