Strategypage posted a short article on Ukraine's amazing anti-drone system. NATO is already studying this, because its so innovative. They basically have a network of cellphones which listen to a distinctive noise that the rotors on the drone make, then when the microphone picks up the noise they know which phones are recieving that and they know where to send the vehicles to blast them out of the sky.

There are reports that Ukrainian forces have entered Belgorod. If true, and if they are hitting it from the Russian side (rather than crossing the Ukrainian-Belgorod border), this opens up some interesting strategic options, since I doubt Russia has fortified Russian Territory against itself.
I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.
SecondWar said: Is that the third drone attack on a Russia airbase in little over a week? |
I don't know, but the long range attacks (those far from the immediate battlefield) are much more frequent lately, as Ukraine has stepped up drone production.
Moscow police departments are reportedly handing out military enlistment flyers to all men who pass through their offices. Perps and victims alike. Also, the city's police armories have reportedly been nearly emptied and sent to Kursk. https://t.co/nO66fM1j1T

Finally, Russians are out of coping as well. After we already declared Sudzha to be fully taken two days ago, after the AFU took Makhnovka and thus encircled Sudzha, Russian channels also confirm the loss.

Fluid situation, but when the head of the Belovsky district of the Kursk region urges residents to evacuate it certainly doesn’t indicate that 🇷🇺 has things under control. https://t.co/pNFygVOSNI

Everyone who, extremely foolishly and with significant damage to their long term reputation, stated that Ukraine had stopped advancing because the **FSB PROPAGANDA** said so can rest assured that, no, Ukraine is continuing to advance in Kursk. https://t.co/3dM8vpNdlf

I think one has to recognize that the West is engaged in a confrontation with Russia, against the backdrop of the war, and I feel there is still some way to go before realization fully sets in. https://t.co/nTc3WYEy9K

The governor of Kursk says 28 villages and towns in the Russian region are currently under Ukrainian occupation, some 121,000 locals have fled the fighting, tens of thousands more on the way. The entire population of the Kursk region is about one million.

This US-provided Stryker was hit by a Russian RPG in Kursk region. The driver suffered a concussion but everyone survived, thanks to a thick layer of armor. Ukrainian troops were using parts to patch up others and the rest of it will be sent back to Germany for repairs. pic.twitter.com/yWMUvLqf3u
