Dumbass MTG!

The right starts to reckon with its Marjorie Taylor Greene problem

Sen. Thom Tillis’s (R-N.C.) comments to CNN on Tuesday were particularly biting. Amid Greene’s efforts to oust McCarthy’s successor, Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.), Tillis called her a “waste of time” and a “horrible leader."

“She is dragging our brand down,” Tillis said. “She — not the Democrats — are the biggest risk to us getting back to a majority."

Tillis added, “I’m embarrassed to have actually lived geographically in her district at one time before she was there.”

Tired of the double standards though.

It's not America firing the missiles, it's Ukraine.

Would the logic change if Ukraine was buying the equipment?

It's a sign of the times when we become too weak from politics to destroy the most evil nation in the world. Anyway, it would seem that ukraine would be wise to make their own missles so that they can decide what to do with them.

They have Neptune but in low supplies and IIRC they're working with the manufacturer of Taurus to make their own missile but the creation of new missiles takes years.

Send these to Ukraine! LOL!

I did a random comparison yesterday of Storm Shadow and ATACMS in the same spot.

But as she says, nowhere in Crimea is safe now. As for how they stack up, ATACMS has a weaker payload than Storm Shadow but it's faster (Mach 0.95 vs Mach 3). Storm Shadow has "stealth technology" and is probably stealthier than ATACMS but ATACMS already blew up a few S-300 or S-400s so it doesn't seem to matter much.

Probably another point in ATACMS favour is that it's shoot and scoot, HIMARS fires the rockets then gets the fuck out of there, as it's ground launched it's harder to detect than a jet. HIMARS launchers are in plentiful supply and jets aren't, so depending on where Ukraine wanted to fire a Storm Shadow it could have put the jets at risk, they can save Storm Shadow for the most valuable targets and use ATACMS for everything else.

According to NYT they sent "roughly 100"

Decent starting amount when combined with Storm Shadow.

We need other countries to join the "long-range missile coalition"
