Won't help the narrative that Europe can't lead by itself if Germany only sends Taurus after America sends ATACMS.

I really hope Europe, especially Western Europe, actually learns from the fact that we almost lost America. We need to be taking the lead on some things and we should still moving forward with ramping up our military industry in support of Ukraine as if we don't have America. We can't any one individual match America, that'll be crazy, but Europe as a whole needs to come closer.

It's still likely that Germany says no, Lol. I'd rather they send Taurus but I'd rather it not have had to be due to America sending ATACMS first.

I wonder if Germany would let ukraine buy the Taurus missle as any other country would have to.

Not about money, sadly, we already know the reason, the only way he can send Taurus is if they send German soldiers in to operate it or if they give Ukraine full control, Scholz does not want to give Ukraine full control because he does not trust Ukraine, he is afraid of Ukraine using Taurus on Russia or Kerch Bridge. It was suggested by a German officer to instead give UK control over Taurus but Sholz doesn't trust UK either.

Despite the fact that Spain and South Korea both have Taurus but I suppose that's fine since they both aren't at war, Taurus is just a museum piece to any country that has it, I wonder if Germany would ban South Korea from using it in the event of a war with North Korea? At this stage I'd say it's likely. It's your usual escalation management, can't upset Russia too much.

They won't even take UK up on its offer to send Taurus to UK so that UK can send more Storm Shadow to Ukraine.

After months long absence by America I'm still left wondering, who is the "leader" of Europe?

We're really not going to learn a damn thing are we? Back to riding the coattails of America?

We might get a clearer picture after the European election. I think right now some are keeping their cards close to themselves due to the upcoming elections, but after those are over I expect some clearer messaging, both from the EU and several member countries.

Joe was old enough to be there too /kappa.

Will Ukraine use the 1 ton payload uav drones against the kerch bridge? This could be a DIY substitute for the Taurus that everyone has been hoping for
