Has this Reuters article been posted here? It's an interesting read. Russian troops occupying a town of Balakliia left behind documents when they fled. Nice details there about Ukraine's counter-offensive onwards from July 19th and how Russian's weren't able to adapt.

Information like this together with the fact Russia hasn't been able to make any significant progress on any front tells us they just don't have the strenght anymore. Russian losses reported by Ukrane must be pretty close to accurate and it wouldn't surprise me if their actual losses were even higher.

At least the video had one thing right, at the end there was about 1 guy to 6 girls, that's because most of the Russian men will be dead in Ukraine.

I think it's more than snow than I've personally seen in the last 5 years combined

Just imagine you use war crimes (destruction of critical energy and water structure) to not only make fun of the possible situation for like 40 million people but also about how woman of that country could be used as prostitutes. And Russians +some crazy other people at my job still tell me how Russia is trying to free the planet from Western tyranny.

Edit: ohh was it about United Kingdom? I thought UK for Ukraine^^

Another article and I find this worrying. Today 48% of republicans think US is doing too much to help Ukraine. The fuck is this 'new breed' of republicans? Hard to imagine this would've been the case 10-20 years ago. It's not a communist Soviet Union spreading their infuence but a facists regime so it's alright to them?

I don't get this argument that war in Ukraine is just a local conflict in Eastern Europe and it's no business of US. A very short-sighted view of populism I'd say. US doesn't exist in a vaccuum. If Russia was to win it would have consequences for US too, their position as the greatest superpower would eventually start shaking. I mean, US didn't join WW2 just for the fun of it.

And think about how much money US has spent on their military since Cold War? Most of it because of Russia. Now there's a chance to weaken/beat them with a minimal cost, without even sending own troops to die. Also compared to money US poured in Afganistan, aid to Ukraine is peanuts. Unlike Afganistan, war in Ukraine has a high chance to be succesful.

Ok rant over.

Well if Republicans continue to support trash candidates with trash views, at least that means they have a lower chance of winning unlike the dominance displayed in the 80s and 2000s.

Back in those days the Republican candidates appealed to a diverse group of people, and managed to win many elections. Trump was the first Republican president to fail to win re-election for the Republican party after a first term. Just goes to show that appealing to one type of person will not win you elections.
