Russia's transportation minister found dead, with a pistol found right up on him. He either killed himself because of the crisis of frozen russian airports and knew they would come for him soon, or was put away by putin. Either way, the poor fellow has passed and been sent to his afterlife.

Russia has become a net importer of food.

F Russia, they brought this on themselves. Has anybody here heard of the Holodormir? I dont know if i'm spelling this correctly, but they have used hunger and starvation as a weapon against Ukraine previously. And now they don't have enough men to work the farms or the low paid food production facilities. China can jack up the price of rice and potatoes and send that to Russia, and they'll happily eat it. Russia will pay when this war stops, dearly. And nobody will bail them out, except for mabey China. And then, what will russia have to do for a bailout? Cede territory back to china?

Just in case anyone is wondering about the high daily "vehicles & fuel tank" numbers, these are actually motorbikes. The Russian strategy has been changed to using motorbikes with 1-2 men that drive into the Ukranian defences. Ukranian drones have a hard time now as motorbikes are very agile, unlike trucks and AFVs. Also if a drone operator sees a dozen or more motorbikes approaching fast, what can he do?
While Russian losses are considered high, the tactic seems to work as the Ukranian defense lines in the East are faltering due to lack of equipment and munition.

ruzzians using poorly maintained motorbikes has been a tactic they have been using for well over a year, and it has been hilarious seeing so many getting blown up by drones who are far more agile than bikes in fields who can't manoeuvre nearly as well as they would on a road.

Like a lot of russian solutions to problems, the motorcycle calvary are always poorly implemented

They've been doing that for over a year now.

And it's not just motorbikes, quads and buggy are also used. You know, any vehicles that can drive fast over uneven terrain are useful in this situation. But the losses also mean that they have a high churn rate and thus are supplementing them with vehicles that are less ideal, like busses in some cases.

Best defense against such charges are machine guns. Since they're not armored any hit could be critical, and machine guns can lay fire over a wide area, especially if supported by soldiers firing their assault rifles

Two massive drone attacks on Ukraine recently, over 700 drones a couple nights ago and nearly 400 drones last night, we're doing fuck all at stopping them from being able to build these, soon they'll probably be doing 1000 drones in a night. All this while America has pulled back on supplies to Ukraine, very obvious Putin is trying to take advantage of the decreased support.
