Starting to think Rutte is a shit leader of NATO.

He is, but the organisation is totally dependent on basically one country anyways. You can say a lot about the US, but unlike most European countries their defense is well organised. Guess spending around 3% for decades on defence does buy you a really good defence.

Most European countries are historically below 1.5% on average over the decades. So Europe needs to spend more to play catch-up. Currently Europe strategy is holding off till US help arrives and unless Europe steps up in a big way we will forever totally dependent on US.

Trump could leave NATO or simply not uphold article 5, which would be a disaster for the Baltic's, Moldova and bad for Europe in general.

Please excuse my (probally) poor grammar

Ahhh, it warms my heart when russian economics fails. Well, a plant making microelectronics for the MIG, Su, and other systems has gone into the russian equivalent of bankruptcy. The market price for the example product mentioned in the article was around 5K rubles, but the government capped the price at 2.5K rubles. So the government got too cheap and it ended up killing the company.

haha! get them somewhere else putin, mabey from your chinese masters now

It's going to happen, in their attempt to take over Ukraine they're just going to end up being economically owned by China, the great nation of Russia, becoming China's little bitch. Of course that's still bad for us but the irony of trying to expand your empire only to end up under the thumb of another would be funny.

Russian soldiers’ remains are frequently found among the bodies of fallen Ukrainian troops returned by Russia. It’s left to the Ukrainians to sort through them, trying to tell their own from the enemy. The Putin regime shows utter disregard for its own men.
