Friendly fire level: professional

Today on the front lines, a Russian Su-25 shot down… another Russian Su-25.

Hmmmmmm. It does look like it shot something, do we think friendly fire or accident?

After rewatching the footage several times, I do believe that the other pilot is innocent, the angle is simply making it impossible.

I guess the reason is actually poor maintenance, the plane couldn't take the G-forces of the sharp turn anymore and fell apart from the forces pushing against it.

But what about the stuff being fired? It looks like missiles were fired by the plane from behind.

But at the same time...I kind of see your conclusion because I'm pretty sure whatever was fired didn't actually hit the plane in front.

Ooo, I see now, I think the plane in front also fired missiles so they were probably just lobbing missiles at Ukrainian positions from a distance which is normal.

Yeah, fucking Christ, the plane looks like it just ripped apart by itself, JFC, LOL.

First two are from the plane at front. Second two are the plane from behind.

Pretty sure the missiles go right over the top of it.

I think it just...blew up on its own.

Is it worse to have your plane blown up by friendly fire or have your plane just randomly rip itself apart? Lol.

I'd say falling apart is worse. Friendly fire can be an accident (unless morale would be so low that they would be killing each other, but then they'd be out of an air force within days), poor maintenance (or lack of critical parts) are just many crashes waiting to happen.

And we will see coverage of much more of this.  Operation Spiderweb resulted in Russia moving the planes around more in order to protect them.  But this will be more stress on both planes and pilots.  Personally, i'm happy to see the stress of a good nation that has become evil. I wish that they would kick putin out so that the russian people wouldn't have to suffer from their delusions of grandeur.

The last thing you'd want is Putin out of the picture. He is many things but he is not dumb. Imagine nutjobs like Medvedev taking over...

That scenario would do a lot of things regarding american foreign policy goals.... We could see things like:

-russia losing khaliningrad

-russia losing siberia

-russian people angry about the vast amounts of wealth wasted on war, and moving towards liberalism of the nation

And perhaps other nations that russia has gobbled up (georgia if i'm not mistaken) becoming free and independent again

I can’t see either of those first two words things happening, regardless of the outcome of the war.

Ukraine worried Israel-Iran crisis will decrease military aid

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy says he hopes the escalation between Israel and Iran won’t result in a drop in military aid to Kyiv.

“We would like to see aid to Ukraine not decrease because of this,” Zelenskyy said in remarks published on Saturday. “Last time this was a factor that slowed down aid to Ukraine.”

The attack on Iran has led to a rise in oil prices, which Zelenskyy said would benefit Russia.

“The attacks led to a sharp rise in oil prices. This is bad for us,” he said.

The Ukrainian leader also warned Europe’s support is stalling without Washington’s engagement, as “Europe has not yet decided for itself what it will do with Ukraine if America is not there”.

This is what I've been worried about too and I was going to make a post on it. Ironically a war between Israel and Iran will likely benefit Russia the most, I say ironically because Russia and Iran are allies but Russia doesn't need Iran any more for drone production, they have the license and are arguably producing them better than Iran, as for artillery, Iran could still supply that to Russia because they don't need artillery for Israel as they don't share a border. Meanwhile oil prices increasing would benefit Russia a lot.

And Europe is so pathetic that they will likely come rushing to America/Israel's aid despite the fact that Netanyahu and Trump would absolutely not do the same for us. Trump's America and Netanyahu's Israel is no ally to Europe one bit. We should not be helping them at all. Not only because the war is based on bullshit (Netanyahu needing a war to remain in power and Trump being unable to get a deal signed) but also quite frankly, America doesn't deserve a damn thing from Europe right now.

Even if America was a good ally lately (they aren't), we should not be getting involved in a war made up for bullshit reasons. We should not be pissing around in the Middle-East again and hoping that this time, attempt #2000 to "fix" the Middle-East is a success. We (Europe) have far bigger issues right now, we need all focus on combatting Nazi Russia and if Europe splits its attention between some horseshit war in the Middle-East and Russia then Ukraine is screwed and only Russia will benefit from a divided attention Europe. If it were up to me, all Israel bound resources would be diverted to Ukraine. Let America and Israel clean-up the shitshow that they've created.

Why should we help Trump's America? So that we can get threatened again like with Denmark and Greenland? So that Trump can enforce more bullshit tariffs on us? To hear the Trump Admin continue to publicly shit talk our governments and try to interfere in our elections to push pro-Russian parties? So America can spit in our face some more by telling us we're on our own with Russia and actively try to help Russia? So that after we help America/Israel in a war, the Trump Admin can openly shit talk our contributions and mock our dead like they've done with all our troops that died helping America after 9/11?

I'll only consider "helping America" if it was in defence of someone innocent like Taiwan.
