Sort of, but you're missing a lot.

Christians aren't really the problem in america.  The hidden thing wrong is really America's violent culture.  We have much more crime than many other nations.  This is quite different from something like terrorism that combines things like religion, politics and war all into one.

Are you trying to point out problems in a group that you think that I belong to, in order to not problemize others so much?  Well, i'm not even a christian though.  I really don't have a religion, but follow zen mostly these days.  I'm starting to read the bible recently, but I'm the farthest thing from a devoted christian so that's not even part of my identity if you don't mind me getting back to the point from the original post.

You also tend to be more religious in America (except maybe for Italy and Poland...) AND have a much higher homicide rate as Europe where millions of Muslims live? Damn! More killings with much less people who belong to the religion you have such a problem with!

I'm trying to tell you that if you try to shit on a religion again and again (which you do in this forum) then maybe you should look at all the killings which happen from people who would maybe not do it if they were atheists.

But you only pick those "cherries" which fit to your agenda and you even feel the need to randomly post it in this thread without any reason.

1.  I will be critical of all religions, and that is the bottom line sir.  And Christians have also been just as bad.  They have justified so much sexism and misogyny that its unbelievable.  The Christian morality has also been the basis for american homophobia for a long time.  It's just that religion in the middle east is much more pervasive in their society and that's why islam has been the basis for their intolerance for women and gays, which has frankly been even more extreme.  Very nuanced issue.

2.  You are comparing crime with terrorism and they really aren't the same at all.  America is also becoming less and less religious in general, however we have a high crime rate regardless, and i really don't think that the two are related at all.  The problem of crime is rooted in our culture.   Now, if you'd like i have other opinions on crime lol, and if you'd wish to discuss them, i'd love to share.

And the christian intolerance doesn't end there. They have imprisoned many european scientists way back in the day. Christianity was used to condone american slavery. There have been many abuses by some of these offshoot cult kinds of groups as well. And some (if not many) of the early popes were assasinated. I'm sure that other people died because of these power struggles as well. Many European wars have happened because of Christianity. And the burning times when America/Europe burned witches. That's some sick stuff.

My philosophy on this, is that i can dislike all religions, and that all should be criticized or even made fun of.  Because the whole point of religion is to connect with a higher power and have a better world.  If they haven't done this then they deserve all of the flak that they get.

Russia is literally committing genocide in the name of Christianity, I don't give a fuck about what religion is worse, they're all manipulated and used by psychopaths. This is a completely useless and off-topic discussion.

@shavenferret next time you drag the thread off-topic with a random off-topic attack on Muslims, I will be thread banning you (or worse). Get back on topic. Support Ukraine. Enough with this side-track nonsense. I am sick of seeing your obvious prejudice injected into this thread.

Do not respond to this post, whether directly or indirectly.

The next posts better be about Ukraine.

Very troubling and it would seem wise that Ukraine move away from Starlink asap.
