Fucking hell, the reports of them being flown out of trucks is true. What an insane operation.

❗️The 🇷🇺Russians are also publishing footage of FPV drones taking off from truck containers that attacked Russian airfields.

Not only that, the trucks self-destructed afterwards.

👀🚘 Trucks from which Ukrainian FPV drones were launched against Russian airbases.

💥 After the final FPV drone launch, a self-destruct mechanism activated.

FYI, Russia has still not sent their "peace memorandum" to either Ukraine or America despite promising it America weeks ago. They're also sending the same psychotic delegation as the last one who threatened Ukrainian officials families, threatened to take more of Ukraine and demanded they surrender Kherson and Zaporizhia completely. So that tells you all you need to know.

A strong explosion and secondary detonations are reported in Severomorsk, according to Russian channels. Severomorsk is the main administrative base of the Russian Northern Fleet.

This is a pretty strong message the day before the new set of negotiations, a message to Russia to not fucking threaten them and take peace negotiations seriously because Russia does not have all the cards.

One really should stress how difficult these losses are to replace. There hasn't been a new-built Tu-95 since 1992, nor a Tu-22M since 1993. Of the Tu-22 there are a number of aircraft in various stages of storage, so activating some is likely possible. For the Tu-95, there isn't much of a reserve.

Wiki reports 50 Tu-95 as of 2020. Meant to be in service until 2040.

Big blow even with a few destroyed, they make up part of Russia's nuclear arsenal.

Seriously impressive.

I honestly struggle to come up with a historical comparison. Destroying strategic assets that difficult to impossible to replace has been done, daring special forces raids have been done, and striking airbases to great effect has been done, all of which are hard to do, but to combine all three?

Might be unrelated as Russian maintenance is shit but two bridges in Kursk and Bryansk collapsed last night as well. Also a railway track on the Unecha-Zhecha section in Bryansk was also damaged.

Belaya Air Base in Russia’s Irkutsk region is on fire after recent Ukrainian drone attacks. All nearby roads have reportedly been sealed off, with only emergency services allowed access.

Looks like four -and possibly a fifth- strategic bombers are burning at Belaya Air Base in Irkutsk region.

Ukraine’s Security Service reportedly spent over 18 months preparing Operation “Pavutýna” ("Spiderweb"), which targeted 41 Russian strategic aircraft today.

According to Ihor Lachenkov referring to sources within the SBU, FPV drones were first smuggled into Russia, followed by mobile wooden cabins.

It is claimed that another airfield in the Moscow region was targeted—either Voskresensk Severka Airfield or Aviatsentr "Voskresensk".

Both are small local airstrips or training centers and, as far as known, do not host any significant Russian military aviation.

Needs further confirmation.
