Russia's railway loads have dropped 8.6% in April, compared to a year ago.

Pretty normal if their main cargo from abroad isn't coming in anymore due to sanctions, and their main cargo inlands, armored vehicles, isn't coming through anymore due to lack of stocks...

Absolutely.

But this is a great metric on how things are winding down to a point from when Russia was doing better.

At this rate Ukraine will become the military factory of all of Europe after the war. And if they play their cards well, actually THE factory of Europe.

We're getting somewhere, slowly, Chuck is 2nd in charge of Senate IIRC?

But for now, it's still just more words, words that have never been backed up by action.

The US State Dept says Trump “has many tools” to help end the war. Spox Tammy Bruce clarified his recent Putin remarks weren’t “criticism” but a serious message from someone who’s long fought for peace. “Russia should take this seriously—Americans certainly do.”

🇺🇸🤔 Trump's latest statements about Russia should not be seen as a disappointment, the US still supports direct negotiations between Russia and Ukraine, - US State Department

Is this damage control for Putin's benefit? Lol.

Drunken Medvedev whips out the 200th WW3 threat.

Russian state media in return openly mocks Trump for his statement.

Russia openly mocks Trump...AGAIN.

Trump admits in public that he has been protecting Putin from trouble all along.

Fucking LOL.

More talk but this time talk which admits to protecting Russia, FFS.

Putin’s betting on a big summer offensive — still convinced he can win. The main push is expected in Donetsk, toward Pokrovsk and Kostiantynivka, while 125,000 troops mass near Sumy and Kharkiv. Ukraine’s bracing for defense. This might be Russia’s last real shot.

More words, this time from Trump's pastor, it's a shame Trump has never read the bible though, I don't think he cares what his pastor thinks, it's just optics to "have" one in America, Lol.

I have the sinking feeling that Trump is going to do all this "I'M NOT OWNED BY RUSSIA. SEE LOOK. I'M THREATENING RUSSIA." only to once again have a phone call where he then claims "Putin and I had a good chat, Putin is ready for peace, clearly based on words a few weeks ago you can see I am not owned by Russia, therefore you can believe me when I say Zelenskyy is the problem" The only thing is I think Trump is too stupid to do some 4D chess move like that, and maybe he'll prove me wrong but I just wouldn't be surprised if this was all just some planned game between Putin and Trump for Trump to not look "owned" by Russia for when he inevitably backstabs Ukraine again.

He's been tough on Russia through words on TruthSocial so clearly he isn't owned, his fanbase would buy that, Lol.

meh...... trump is definitely being two-faced, but it also seems like he feels some pressure from Europe and the American Senate to help Ukraine.  So he can only go so far in supporting the wrong side.  The administration is currently helping to some degree.

🇩🇪🇺🇦 Chancellor Merz announces Germany will co-finance long-range Ukrainian-made missile systems without range limits.

"This marks a new phase of defense-industrial cooperation," Merz said alongside Zelensky.

Germany will also fund a significant share of Starlink in Ukraine.

Sounds like a smart way to get around the stupid politics of providing Taurus, Germany and Ukraine co-producing new missiles, no range restrictions, Germany will also be buying these missiles from Ukraine too in the future, it is basically going to be Ukraine's "Taurus" made in Ukraine, partly funded by Germany, exported to Germany, Ukraine control.

But missile production takes years sadly, they should just straight up give Ukraine the entire spec sheets for Taurus, Lmao.
