I could see Macron doing well in something like President of the EC, his "Europe First" and all that has been proven to be spot on, everything France was warning us about has came true, they have so many "I told you so" Lol. Course they still have some issues but I think France is the strongest voice in Western Europe who has been banging on that we need to be Europe focused, Europe first, invest in Europe, warned us about reliance on America and China, France is the one saying we need to buy Europe, not American.

NATO should be led by an Eastern European person, like someone from Poland.

Billionaire Elon Musk has suggested the US should leave NATO, as tensions between the US and its European allies continue to build.

Musk, the CEO of Tesla and head of the Department of Government Efficiency, reshared a post on X Sunday that read "Exit NATO now!"

"We really should," Musk wrote. "Doesn't make sense for America to pay for the defense of Europe."

Unelected Billionaire Immigrant From South Africa Says America Should Leave Alliance With European Allies.

The debate over how much of the (1,5, 150, soon more) €bn should be spent on EU vs non-EU defence manufacturers is about to move decisively in France's direction

Macron just has to sit back at this point. Trump is winning the argument for him 🇪🇺🇫🇷

America's defense industry is going to be very unhappy with trump, as they won't be selling anything overseas now. I just read how the United States won't service the F-16s anymore and those planes especially need a very qualified hand in the maintenance. Very few in ukraine would be able to do the job. I bet that lock-heed martin stock isn't doing so hot right now.

i've said it before but Ukraine should get going on the Gripen and tell Saab to start production on that.

Tom Friedman on point here, though he understated the case. Either Trump is the worse negotiator in all the universes of truth and fiction, or he is beginning an alliance with Russia with a joint attempt to subjugate Ukraine (and then much else).

Denmark has donated 19 of the F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine, and now Trump has ordered an end to US support for their onboard jamming equipment, thereby helping Putin destroy this USD 291,000,000 donation.

This US administration is an enemy of Europe.

Around half of the €200 million funds for the Tallinn Mechanism — a key effort by the U.S., EU and NATO to provide cyber support to Ukraine — have evaporated after the US pulled its funding, Estonia’s cyber ambassador told me today. More in NatSecDaily: www.politico.com/newsletters/...

I'm calling it, Trump and Putin directly negotiated this move to ensure Ukraine gets pushed out of Kursk, the timing is far too coincidental. Ukraine can't defend their Kursk positions when they have no satellite data and US Weapons can't be used on Russian soil. This 100% feels set up to force Ukraine to retreat and therefore give Russia another win and so Trump can say "You don't have any cards left! Surrender!"

America is a Traitor.

Obvious Russian Asset.

"The butcher from the White House! Shamelessly lying, Trump explains to the world that Putin is not an aggressor and that he wants peace – that’s why he halted military and intelligence support to Ukraine. In reality, the ‘Butcher in the White House’ is deliberately weakening Ukraine’s defence so that Putin can launch unprovoked strikes on cities and critical infrastructure day and night. The goal of the Trump-Putin tandem is Ukraine’s capitulation. This opens the door for Russia to Moldova and the EU’s eastern flank."

Trump's second administration is 'unprecedented' to some, but historians find parallels in ancient Rome, Nazi Germany, and Latin American dictatorship. One word comes up again and again as the media, legal experts, and longtime government officials try to describe what Trump has done in retaking power and launching a campaign of revenge against his enemies: “unprecedented.”

It seems there is little to which his ferocious rule and brazen corruption can be compared, at least in the past two and a half centuries of the American republic. But the United States is still a young country, and a longer, more global view yields fascinating parallels to our moment that date back to antiquity. Here, seven historians tell Rolling Stone how monarchs, elites, and dictators of the past anticipated someone like Trump, the results of their often brash and short-sighted decisions, and what kind of legacies they ultimately left behind.

No the reason is that Russia has been using a barricade of drones to control the Ukranian resupply paths in the Kirk region, 24/7. The Ukranians are unable to jam the drones which are apparently of modern build. There was a recent report that Ukranians have "donated" drone helmets to the Russians which contained a detonation device. This took out some drone controlers but was not enough to break the blockade. Curiously, no reports of the North Korean forces have been reported in the past weeks.

It is reported that a good part of the Ukranians in the Kursk region are in serious danger of being encircled by Russian troops, if they haven't already. I've always wondered about the long-term strategy of this Kursk invasion, but it seems there wasn't any....

Russian military may be stupid but they are learning.

Nah. The timing is far too coincidental, it is pretty obvious cutting off aid has just severely hampered Ukraine's efforts in Kursk, while Russia has completely lost momentum in Donbas, Ukraine is having to retreat out of Kursk at the same time that Trump cuts aid and disallows Ukraine to use American intelligence on Russian soil.

The long-term strategy was obvious, it was a combination of distracting Russia's focus and a card to be used in future negotiations, as long as Ukraine held onto Kursk, Trump however has just lost them that card, having said that, Trump is clearly a Russian asset now so I don't really see the point in staying in Kursk either way now and they are seemingly pulling out.

Kursk's invasion was too coincidentally before the US Elections, it was clearly going to be a "Well if Russia wants a ceasefire then they have to freeze on the current lines and if Russia wants to keep our territory then we'll keep theirs, only fair" in case Trump tried to force them into a ceasefire which only benefits Russia but that's irrelevant now, Trump's siding with Russia no matter what.

US President Trump sees Zelensky as an obstacle, not a partner. Behind closed doors, Trump is reportedly trying to force Zelensky to resign through political pressure, with no new US weapons for Ukraine as long as he's in office, Bild writes.

🇺🇸❗️🇺🇦 Trump will not resume military aid to Ukraine until Zelensky leaves office, - BILD

Trump may take revenge on Zelensky for refusing to provide dirt on Hunter Biden in 2020. Holding elections in Ukraine in the near future would be "the ideal result for Putin".

Here's the Russian asset trying to pressure Ukraine into regime change as Putin wants by withholding aid and allowing innocent Ukrainian civilians to be slaughtered. Russian asset doesn't seem to know what all of Ukraine's opposition have already said no to elections. Almost certain that the Russian asset wouldn't resume aid even if someone other than Zelenskyy took over.

America wants a complete and total surrender of Ukraine to Russia because America is Russian now.

Ukraine Holds Elections.

1. Zelenskyy Wins = Trump and Musk claim election fraud, say they won't support Ukraine due to this.
2. Zaluzhnyi Wins = America says Ukraine doesn't want peace, says they won't support Ukraine due to this.
3. Opposition Wins, Refuses to Surrender = America says Ukraine doesn't want peace, says they won't support Ukraine due to this.

Their hope is obvious, they want a Russian puppet to win who will completely surrender Ukraine. They will look for someone corrupt who they can bribe and/or pressure easier than Zelenskyy/Zaluzhnyi but that puppet would likely be dragged out onto the streets by Ukrainians so there's not much appetite for it with current Ukrainian politicians.
