🇩🇪🇺🇦 "The goal is clear": Pistorius called on partners to strengthen Ukraine's defense industry.

❗️He said that Ukraine's partners should strengthen not only AFU with weapons, but also country's defense industry. This is in the interests of NATO.

‼️ This looks like forcing Ukraine into a "preventive capitulation". This is how one European diplomat from NATO compared the change in US policy, writes Euractiv.

This is his reaction to the statement of Hegseth that Ukraine's membership in the Alliance is not realistic.

Several NATO diplomats were unpleasantly surprised that such statements were made even before the start of peace talks on Ukraine.

Meanwhile in Russia: state TV host Evgeny Popov says that Trump is doing Moscow's job by ripping apart the Western world — whipsawing right through it, the way Russia always wanted to. Popov says that it's truly amazing.

Europe should forget about buying American for the future now, maybe for Ukraine only if the option even still remains but for our own militaries we need to have a strict focus on Europe made. America is a liability and it's too risky to place our trust in them now and if America wants to act this way, be isolationist, then lets hit them where it hurts; In their MIC.

Our entire armies should be European focused, European Jets only, European Tanks only, European IFVs only, etc. No American shit in sight, it would also help to boost our own military defence industries and really scale them up when all European countries are buying from each other only. Send all the American shit to Ukraine and replace it with European.

Canada can join us. No one should be buying American at this stage, the differences are negligible as well, America's thing may be slightly better than this European counterpart but Russia is significantly behind them both, so an argument on quality is ultimately irrelevant, this is about European security now and European unity, which America doesn't want to be apart of.

🇪🇺🇺🇦 WEIMAR+ nations (France, Germany, Poland, Italy, Spain, UK & EU) reaffirm support for Ukraine’s sovereignty & security. They commit to aiding Ukraine until a just, lasting peace is reached—one that protects both Ukraine & Europe. Ukraine must negotiate from a position of strength.

🚨 Trump called it an "interesting question" when asked if Ukraine is an equal party in the peace process.

Reporter: "Do you see Ukraine as an equal participant?"
Trump: "Mmm, that’s an interesting question. I think they’ll have to make peace. People are being killed, it’s a bad war."

Europe needs to wake the fuck up, America isn't an ally to us anymore, when will we learn? Fucking wake up already! Largely speaking to Western Europe; UK, France and Germany, I think France already realises this and they've been screaming at Europe for years to wake up but Germany and UK still have their heads stuck in the sand.

Don't you worry! France might just join the gang after the next election and in fact go even further by siding with Russia!

More seriously though, I guess we Europeans really don't regard the US as highly as before: 'Respondents are more likely to call the US merely a “necessary partner” rather than an “ally”.' New Kings & Generals video about the War in Ukraine (January 2025):

If Europe or NATO could send some troops defending the borders to Belorussia and Transnistria, Ukraine could free up enough troops to change the balance of power on the front decisively in their favor.

Also, I can understand why Ukraine created new units with fresh troops, bur they should have sent them to those sectors first and send those defenders to the main front instead, as those are more hardened.

Well, considering how the US is treating Europe (and their other allies for that matter), it's no small wonder that they distance themselves more and more from the US. And the shift in politics from Trump certainly isn't helping at all in that regard.

Europe should not cry too much though. If you want to be on the big stage, be a big player first instead of the world's laughing stock. As much as China is economy and military are paper tigers, they are still more feared and respected than what the EU has, or better said is willing to bring to the table. EU still buys Russian gas and Oil even The Netherlands (which has the biggest port in the EU).

Please excuse my (probally) poor grammar

It feels like we're fucked either way but I had hoped we would at least save Ukraine before we decided to stab ourselves in the face by electing far-right fascists. If Russia decided it wanted to invade the Baltics there is not a chance that Reform UK, AfD Germany or RN France would lift a finger to help because they're all on Russia's payroll, the only comfort is there's still a number of years before those have power and they'd also need a majority which is a bit more difficult, they almost always need a coalition who come with their own demands.

But with how Liberal/Centrist politicians across Europe continue to stick their head in the sand, I lose confidence everyday, they still think the old ways will ultimately prevail and everything will be okay so there's a lack of urgency or even them trying to protect democracy, what use is democracy if we elect these fascist who will dismantle democracy?

That's without getting into the fact that we have state "owned" propaganda outlets spreading bullshit across Europe from TikTok (China) and Twitter (America) and Europe has nothing of its own so has to sit and let these shitty social media apps poison the minds of our youth, spread propaganda and bullshit, try to interfere in our elections and we do nothing.

Centrist Politicians are too scared to do anything and opt for the status quo. The far-right are far better at populism and spreading bullshit, they're far better at inventing imaginary enemies for people to hate, to distract people while they pillage the country, they will always be able to invent a new enemy while they enrich their billionaire friends (who don't care either). They will continue to do it because humans are easily tricked and it's far easier to trick people into hating shit than actually looking into and fixing the root cause of issues.

It does feel like we're currently on the edge of a repeat of the 1930s despite "Never Forget" which has proven to be nonsense, humans haven't learnt a thing, I don't think we ever will. We always repeat the same mistakes. We're going to end up with more wars in the future if Russia gets its way, less world unity, "Might Makes Right" and so a bunch of countries should seriously consider acquiring nukes.

Munich Agreement Part 2 Incoming.

How is Trump's plan going on forcing Russia to concessions via sanctions?

Thanks America, for Making Russia Great Again.

America's masterclass in negotiations so far = Give Russia two major concessions before negotiations begin, thus providing them with two major wins, weaken the position of the victim and give a boost to Russia's stock market whilst Russia has not yet done a single thing in return. Trump is doing more positive for Russia's economy than fucking America's.

Is this a pictograph of market share and profitability?  I was under the impression that russian oil profits were down to a great degree.

Edit:  Nevermind, did a google image search and this shows how russian stocks jumped up after news of the peace plan broke
