Ah he told you. Yer I don't see why the block. I know some of his posts were ignorant because he didn't fact check to see if those images were out of context, but being ignorant isn't a crime.

I value this thread because I work too many hours, so this is like my one spot I can quickly read what happened in the last week or two. Granted the war is in a bit of a stalemate atm and EU west and USA trying to get involved as much as possible, but every now and then something important happens that is captured here, so the more willing to contribute content about the war to this thread the better.

Denmark stocks up military in Greenland (and Faröer Islands) by 2Billion € /14.6 Billion Danish Kroner. This investment includes 3 actic ships, advanced imaging drones as well as satellite capabilities (surveillance and communication most likely).

It should be. The world wouldn't be in its current state if being ignorant was indeed a crime. Spreading disinformation is harmful.

Not ban worthy, but Rol has every right to call out disinformation.

It's the way that Rol gets away with it though. Rol makes a lot of personal attacks and several people have been banned for interacting with him. Perhaps we should start looking at the common element in all of this. 

Rol wasn't the reason BFR was thread banned, it was a combination of the off-topic stuff, the whole messy discussion around Greenland, Musk's Nazi salutes and at least 3 Mods agreed on the thread ban, Rol also wasn't the one who reported him. Rol isn't to blame for BFR's behaviour. If he wants then he should plead his case to the Moderator who issued the ban or CGI in a respectful and apologetic manner.

I do agree BFR contributes to this thread well sometimes, but all too often he has these what I call argumentative moments or moments where he takes discussion off the rails, seems to always happen around the same time everyday and it has been a pattern over months, thus I am conflicted and therefore can't be bothered to argue in his favour as he has annoyed even me, he will have to argue his own case.

All I'd do is support a decrease in length but can't be bothered to do any more than that.

I reported a few of BFRs comments in this thread for being off topic in the last week. I wasn't expecting him to get a ban for it though. I was hoping he'd get an official warning that would hopefully encourage him to keep his discussions related to the topics in this thread.

But it took Rolstoppable who excels in inflaming others to get him to the point where BFR got himself banned.  And if BFR was banned for speaking on off topic subjects then rol should be banned as well because it was an ongoing discussion between the two.  Why pick one person if both were guilty of the same offense?  The other thing is that Rol frequently makes personal attacks which causes problems between members and this has happened many times.  

But for some reason the mods support this because they keep letting Rolstoppable get away with it all.
