The MGO Beta is delayed.  I'm sure the thousands, maybe million or two people trying to get into the beta have killed the servers.

An announcement is expected tomorrow.

Yeah I read it today,  their are to many people on the servers and konami can't handle it :s;

Not unexpected!

The servers have been clogged from the very start since the beta was put on the store! Probably due to the fact they never anticipated this much interest for the beta, which is a good thing as it gives them an idea of how many PS3 owners are considering picking up the game :D

Good or bad.

Because the beta is free in Europe, I expect that 1-2 million people were trying to get into it for free, rather than the couple thousand or so americans who may have pre-ordered.

It's most likely due to the major number of Europeans trying to get in.

Good and bad really. . . We all want to play the beta, but this is sort of why they're having a beta. Better for it to happen now than on launch day (unless of course they learn nothing from this).

That sucks, I just got done creating a Konami ID/Konami Game ID for the MGO Beta.

I'm all registered I just need to download this fucking patch and its taking a long time.

i think this is kind of good... that means that the game is going to sell like hot bread...

And when the thing is up and running (lets hope it does)... there are going to be a lot of people to play with... and for me that is good news to...

Once everyone that has PSN or online PS3 play this Beta. I think people will have no choice but to purchase MGS4 for this part of the game.

I think word-of-mouth is really going to take MGO off real well :)
