Also the mods where there from day one, and no content beyond the rules was ever posted.

But it was very popular because people could post more adult type things without a ton of immaturity. So I still think it is a valid point to have an area that is filtered by whatever (18 and up). Not so people can do anything against the current standing rules but so the discussions will not be derailed by those who can not handle some discusions.

The closest I can recall were Kenzomatic mentioning not to "invite people who likes controversy, people like somethingj" and us teasing soriku that he might find out.
I even bumped one a few hours ago and soriku participated in it.
Sure that may be talking about someone behind their back but I think it's hardly offensive, soriku found out and he was alright with it.
I also don't recall any disallowed content, mods were present after all.

I know you need to fix glitches and holes in the security and I have nothing against your decision to close down the secret forum but making up fake reasons, or blowing up something insignificant to "bitch about certain users" is uncalled for and only opens up misunderstandings.

Yeah I get your point... still I like to talk with other users about things that are a little private... not offencive or illegal... just not for everyone... this is allready done through p.ms... Section 8 was only expanding that idea... the step from personal message to personal forum isn´t that far... If I wan´t to talk about something mature but I only want to dicuss it with people I trust and don´t want to bother the front page with it... well I don´t see it as such a big problem...

On the other hand the hole idea could run out of hand with the site splitting into groups such as the " Judean People's Front" or the "People's Front of Judea" but I think this site has a strong base community with a lot of respect for other oppinions so I don`t think that would happen...
