 Dude, that happens here everyday. Wii fans claiming Wii can do HD and is almost as close as PS360 here on a daily basis. Don't be laughing too much. :)

 please tell me you are joking. i dont think i ahve ever seen anybody who thought that. ps the wii is still a good console dispite it not being as powerful as the hd consoles but it makes up for it in other areas

I believe STOF loves Nintendo, just not Wii.

 

or am I mistaken him with another mod? Yes, he's a gamer. Why would anyone be a mod here and not a gamer? lol

Sorry but since Starcraft isn´t here to hear you pointless rants I will take his place... so I will make a long post about how he isn´t a fanboy and the 360 is the greatest thing ever...

First of all he never sayed anything even remotely close to "360 is the best thing ever", second of all he can hardly be called a fanboy when all he does is protect something he likes against pointless Sony fanboy rants... he never attacks the Wii or calles the PS3 bad... he uses arguments to stop people from sencelesly bashing the 360... if he wouldn´t do that all the time it would look like people are beeing silent because they agree... but I for one don´t agree and am happy Starcraft saves me time and energy to set things straight... if it wasn´t for him this site would look like its completly anti 360 and you can come here to bash it... thats not the way it is... thanks to Starcraft... maybe you think he is a little extreme sometimes... well who wouln´t be with the thinks he has to put up with...


it aint pointless rants it called having a laugh and by the way hard luck with your section 8 thing m8. Well i have been a member of this site since xmas day 07. but have only been on the forums on a regz for about a little more over a week and to what i have seen of starcraft so far comes across to me as a fanboy being as he talks about the 360 like the sun shines out its *@#%* plus he always makes threads like what if MGS4 bombs and many anti sony stuff. i am not a fanboy, i used to have a 360, its just that he has nothing nice to say about any other console apart from the 360

Thanks to El Duderino for looking out for me.  Obie, I'm not going to attack you or make some ridiculously long post.  If I did that and based it entirely on logic you would look a little foolish, and I genuinely don't wish to do that to you.  So how about this.  Can you please point to the thread where I made any genuine suggestion that MGS4 would bomb?  After that, point to just a few of the anti-sony threads that I "always" make.  While your looking it up, you may come across the Rrod thread I made at GDC, or the older threads I made criticising Microsoft's weak showing at the last E3.

If you simply could point some of these out to us, then there will be no need for this to turn into a flame thread, as you will have the evidence that you claim is obvious right here.

No the person who he is probably talking about(me) said that the ps3/360 are about 4-5 times more powerful than the wii. For some reason that means = though. Also I revised my thoughts on that and now believe they are about 6-7 times more powerful.

Edit: Oh , and I consider myself far from an all out nintendo fanboy. I just prefer the wii over my other consoles.

Most of the examples are about him going on the "Offensive" actually, so much for "protecting". no? I believe the reason those people above picked Starcraft is the fact he goes on the offensive and bash others.

 

Heck, there are tons of xbox fans here and nobody picked them.

Again, as with Obie, please provide some of these examples.  To be honest I cannot remember a single time when I have "bashed" someone that didn't "bash" me first.  I generally go after people's arguments rather than their person, unlike this thread that turned into an attack on me well before I set foot in it. 

As for the "tons" of Xbox fans? I don't think I could name more than 5 off the top of my head.

I await your examples with anticipation.

He has tooken time since then to revise his thinking, but you can ask others, they will tell you he genuinely thought the Wii was almost as powerful as the PS3 and 360.
