I had till I played The World Ends With You. I'll have a review up for it in a couple days when I've beaten it. Also, don't forget that Square-Enix still publishes good games, even if they don't develop them themselves very often. As for publishing, I realize that Square still publishes several good games... I should have specified that as a developer, they haven't done much for me in the past decade.

I'll have to check out The World Ends with You when I get a chance. I always like to have at least one RPG to play on the DS when I get bored and I finished FFIII quite some time back and never replaced it with anything.

Well, I don't see myself as a 'Sony guy' but I have a PS3 (which gets a lot of use) and am planning on getting a Wii in June as birthday present for my youngest son (he will be 8 and will love it I'm sure).

I'm hoping the whole family will enjoy it - enough to get them off my PS3 anyway and leave that free for me...



Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

Nothing in the future?  Is the 360 going to suddenly stop getting games?  That kind of reminds me of the "Wii is a fad that will just suddenly die" stuff that was going around a couple months back.  Surprising to hear it from you Naz.

Hum...is Brawl out in Europe? I assume you are there if you have Mario Kart (or preorder I suppose). Anyway, that's not the worst list in the world but some bad games are on it, imo. I do have Marvel: UL...but for PS3, heh. I also have Tenkaichi 3 and Okami for PS2.

It's not that the XBox 360 won't be getting any more games.  I'm willing to bet though, that Naznatips is banking on most of those games eventually making their way to the PC.  As am I.  Mass Effect?  PC thanks.  Gears of War?  Had I not already beat it on the XBox 360, I would have bought it for the PC.  COD4, Bioshock, Orange Box, PC version, thanks.  All of a sudden, all those reasons to get an XBox360 disappeared.  For me personally at least.  That's why I sold mine, and got a PS3.  I very much doubt that MGS4 will ever be released on the PC.  Or any of Sony's first party games.  The thing is, Microsoft has an interest in both the XBox360 and PC gaming.  It's in their interest to eventually release most of their titles on both platforms to push both platforms, and to earn more money.  Even if the PC version does come later, I can wait.

Nah I think PS2 owners are converting to Wii. Hell I know they are because of the sales.

I'm gonna reverse this a bit.

I'm a Nintendo guy (not exactly a fanboy) but I would buy a PS3 but since my brothers already has them, I'm going to just get MGS4! ...Wait, crap, they're getting the game. Meh, okay I'll play the PS3 for that game! That counts, right?

Then again, I did got a PS2/PSP and I pretty much bought the Wii.

I can say I'm a Sony/Nintendo person...mostly Nintendo I guess.

 

Also, what's with people whining about the Wii's gimmick? That's seriously the dumbest thing I hear, there are games that doesn't require the wiimote "gimmick". >_>

Not me. I had a PS2 and I have a PS3 for about half a year now. I might buy a Wii if some good games come out for it that I want (rpg's!), but for now I'll stick with my PS3.
