I recently finished No More Heroes (NMH henceforward) on mild and had such a blast that I decided to play it on bitter.
Before going through the ranked matches (except for rank 10 of course) I decided to do all assassination and Free Fight missions as they are unlocked from the start (clear game bab, yeah!).
Free Fight missions were not that different from mild as you get used to do them without getting hit (or, like me, by getting hit a lot so you know them by heart ;)) and most of the assasinations missions are similar in difficulty (a bit more difficult due to the stronger enemies but doable after a few tries).
There are however two* assassination missions that I just cannot get gold medals on and while the game says I have them gold due to me getting gold medals on these missions in mild but I really want to try to get them in bitter too but I am on the verge of giving up and wanted to ask those of you who played it (on bitter) for advice and strategies.
"What missions might these be?" I hear you ask. Why, the second and third Pizza Butt missions of course.
On the second missions, not only do many goons** have guns but the target has a machine gun (or sub-machine gun, whatever, I am not a weapons geek) but all this wouldn't be too bad if they weren't *CONSTANTLY* using them (pausing only to reload but others pick up the slack then). I know, who would do that in real life?
So I can sometime get the closer group on the ground by shaking the nunchuck (thanks for beating some sense into dear old drunk man) but always get pinned down by the other gunners who are of course too far for me to be able to counter. If it was easy to lock on to the target and keep him locked on it might be ok (lock on, counter, whack him and be done) but while I can get quite close to him by running almost straight for him at the start I am more likely to lock on another guard and countering him (which is likely togive me yet another lock on).
I probably will be able to do that one eventually with some perseverance and a lot of luck as my best time is a trifle under 18 second to kill the CEO (and I got a gold one with 16s on mild) but I have no idea how I will get one for the third pizza Butt mission as it is full of beam katana wielding enemies that love to charge them and throw me to the ground. On that one I got lucky enough once to throw the CEO on the ground and do a down attack, earning me a bronze medal. Sadly, silver and gold seem beyond my skills/tactics at the moment.
So, do any of you guys and girls have any advice on how to do it? Perhaps having done it yourselves?
* three actually, but the first one I got a gold medalby pure luck and perseverance once
