Dude, I'm like "ugh..." when I think about reaching 30 years old. Imagine how would I feel about being immortal.

This is exactly what I was going to say. I was going to go all out though, and rave on and on about the gifts that Ilúvatar gave to Men and Elves, but what you said was good enough. Tolkien FTW.

if the population kept climbing and climbing, I think we'd find a way to get around that. I mean, like we should be able to figure out how to colonize other solar systems within the next million years or so. Also guys like Stephen Hawking will be around forever too so we'll have a lot more brain power.

Yes and no.

Biologically its entirely possible to eliminate death from old age and disease however it is, I am almost sure, not possible to eliminate death from accidents, murders or suicides.

There will most definitely some day be a way to keep the human body biologically alive virtually indefinitely. Possibly within our lifetime, but probably not.

Should we do it, or can we keep some people from doing it even if we wanted? Now that is one very hard question I have no answer for.
