i have played plenty of games in my life and for me the most overrated game i have ever played:

 HALO 2

the game was more like halo 1.1 , with out the fun factor. I hated that game.

Well great or you, I guess it's overrated indeed because everybody didn't like the game, that's why it wasn't the most played online console game for 3 years long.

 Funny that because Halo 3 was more like Halo 2 HD.

i bought an xbox for that game, so i know how crazy people went for this game, but its still overrated.

Bio Shock that game got such high review scores but it was so boring and way too easy.

 Finally someone how agree with me about bioshock, only thing what (imo) was really great in the game was the style and art-direction.
