| TheRealMafoo said: lol, your so funny. isn't hand picking numbers for your own cause so fun? The PS3 is outselling the 360 by 37% (and growing). The percent is the important number, not the units. Do you really expect these things to only sell at these numbers for three years solid? So I will even be conservative, and say this trend stops at 40%. That means if M sells 19.5 million consoles, Sony passes it. To don't think MS will sell 19.5 million consoles before the next generation comes out? If that's the case, they both have failed. And it's beyond me how you see the bias in my statement and not yours. They are exactly the same. I guess seeing fanboys is like seeing dead people... they don't even know they are fanboys. |
Actually, if the Xbox 360 sells another 20 million consoles, Microsoft will probably profit off the console overall. At the end of the day, my statement was factually accurate, whereas yours was a dramatized falsehood that you tried to relate to mine to make my statement look fanboyish.
Much of the belief that Sony would dominate Microsoft over the coming year was spawned from two things:
- The now irrelevant fact that Sony would whip Microsoft in Japan. It is irrelevant because Sony's sales there are nearly as marginalized as Microsofts.
-The supposed strength of Sony's 2008 line-up. This has been debunked due to key titles not making it as early as previously thought, and a strengthening of Microsoft's own line-up.
