Forums - Gaming Discussion - Playing with Power: The Nintendo Story documentary

Anyone else watched this new series on Crackle.com yet? I've watched the first couple episodes, seems alright so far.

Nintendo with the Switch:

Around the Network

I don't know much about Crackle other than it is some kind of streaming service. Is it free?

Yeah, Crackle is free.

The Executive Producer is Sean Astin and he is the narrator.

Ok, that sounds cool. I'll have to check it out. I am a sucker for these video game documentary type things.

Same, lol.

There is some new things I've learned but mostly it's getting the perspective of other people that draws me in.

What's interesting about this one is they have a lot of the people involved with the start of Nintendo of America along with other big players.

Thanks for the heads up.

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

Not available in UK so no ?

I ended up watching this yesterday. I thought it was really good. They got a lot of important industry names to comment on it all like Nolan Bushnell, Tom Kalinske, etc.... I really appreciated all of the different perspectives. About the only person I didn't care for was Trip Hawkins. He just comes across as a lying sleaze to me.

Anyway, this was a really well done series. I really enjoyed it.

I just finished it today. I thought it was well done. I really enjoyed it.
