And Buffalo, maybe the next Zelda will be point and click :P

Lol! hey it could be! ;P

Around the Network

I suspect the next Zelda will haave more RPG elements, it won't be a full blown out RPG but some sort of leveling up system, for maybe items or sutff like that.

Didn't Miyamoto say he wanted to make a sequel to TP? I hope so, TP was fun..Also, I don't want a cel-shaded Zelda, I liked the TP way..A sequel would be awesome, Midna could also be part of the sequel..

EDIT: I think I'm thinking about Galaxy LOL...

@supermariogalaxy: Midna was a great character, but given the story in TP how is she supposed to show up in Hyrule again?

Wouldn't anyone like to see a bigger Hyrule? I seriously doubt that they'll use the same map as TP, with out at least adding something to it, or drastically editing it, but I want a huge Hyrule, like twice the size of the one in TP, with a much bigger storyline, and overall a longer game. The Wii could easily hold a game twice as big as a gamecube game, so why not?

But with a bigger Hyrule brings more empty space. There was too much empty space in TP.

Hell, even OoT had far too much empty and wasted space (Hyrule Field anyone?). TWW suffered from this problem as well.

I'd rather see a game with a smaller overworld and more to do. (I've heard MM is like this, but I've never played it)

OoT's Hyrule field was just fine, and the open water in TWW fit with the story.

TP, however, was needlessly empty. They had giant fields that weren't even really connected, and there were few reasons to visit these areas aside from a need to get to someplace else.

They should've had more places to visit in these fields ala Lon Lon Ranch from OoT.

I didn't really mind TWW's water, but it WAS empty. I still liked it though, relaxing.

Anyway, OoT's field was awful. It was almost worse then TP's. It had pretty much nothing to do except for Lon Lon Ranch which got very dull after a few visits. TP's at least looked nice and had caves to explore and hearts to find.

They need to rethink the field design though, and not just make it this massive area of empty space.
