The only things I'd add to this list are: make it so that I don't have to be hooked up to the internet whenever I want to play; I could just pop in the disc and practice a bit on my own, and -maybe- add bots for the new people who want to practice before they just jump in or for people like me who want to hone their skills offline a bit. |
I meant more powerful weapons primarily, as having to empty more than a clip of the assualt rifle is too much
Bots for an offline multiplayer would be excellent
@ PDF: air carrier would be great for a primarily dog fight game, though there would have to be some scenery, something like arpelego, but without the bases
@OP
A lot of what you stated will probably be saved for Warhawk 2
The naval ships and boats is a great idea. Could have submarines too. The ability for teams to combine their efforts and construct new war factories would be cool too. Like a community based very slow paced RTS mixed with the crazy online war environment that we are used to.
My god... That is a great idea!
Right?

A persistant online global strategy map (like total war games) might be taking it too far, I'm not sure Warhawk should delve into RTS gaming as well
As a host (of the VGC Warhawk League, see my sig for recruitment information :) ), I would love the option of being able to switch from player type hosting to dedicated without having to shut down the server. This would allow me to come and go as I please without breaking the flow for the game for the others. (When you shut down the servers, you lose a lot of people who take it as an opportunity to leave.)
Of course, this would not be an issue if they just brought back the old "feature" by which the disk only served the purpose of booting up the game, so I could take the disk out and boot up my other PS3 to act as a dedicated server. Now when you try to do it, the game automatically brings you to the XMB.
I would like a mobile anti air craft platform. Either a tank hybrid with flak guns an faster movement and able 2 take more punishment. If not atruck with maybe 2 rocket turrets on its back with faster reload times. This would give those who like to fight on the ground a good chance 2 protect themselves and try to keep warhawks at bay.
Hey, who runs the Warhawk league on VGC? I want to try out the new features in the game and I have it coming tomorrow or Thursday from GameFly. If I like it better, I might buy it (considering I'll be getting it for $23 with my GF discounts).

I don't "run" the league. I organize, manage and host it with the input of the players. Simply put your info in the stickied thread to sign up. We would love to have you and your GF can join in split-screen if she so wishes.
