Yeah, prices are soo high because of limited avaliablity....there is just too much demand for that.
That said -> double the price but also almost three times the performance (29,7 tflop VS 10,29)...and that doesn't even count ray tracing and DLSS.
My only concern for the RTX3080 is the RAM amount (a bit too low).
Anyway I've just bought an used 1080ti....I won't upgrade for at least another couple of years.

Those are ASUS prices. Might as well compare the price of Apple devices with actual oranges.
