The foul play is on CDPR's side. Suppressing anything that showed console footage while withholding review copies of the console versions, meanwhile promising that the day one patch would turn it into a whole different game. Did anyone try to boot it up without the day one pach?
Shoddy journalism for sure, simply believing that the day one patch will solve all the bugs for the PC version. 100! Many games have been slammed for far less on pre-release review code before a day one patch was available, games where those issues actually did get fixed in the day one patch.

Was it really? It's not even ready for a lot of people on PC now.
They also said they are serious about not releasing it until they were ready to release it, unlike other studios. (Their words)
