Come you guys it cannot be that bad, this is my first MMO..it shouldn't be bad, I shouldn't be addicted to it right?

76% installation..hehe
seriously, World of warcraft is one of the best games of alltime. As long as you know what your real priorities are, you can enjoy it fully.

the Sims is better.

I've never played WoW but I enjoyed the south park episode on WoW.

All these WoW threads are the same. Someone mentions they got WoW, everyone overreacts like they just announced they're shooting heroin. Don't blame a lack of self control on a video game.

Some people do use heroin on a regular basis and live to a ripe old age. The OP asked a question and got some feedback. I think it's a bad choice based on my experience. Is there anything that you would blame a lack of self control on?

The problem is that WoW is being compared to heroine.

Bod - If that's a problem why did you quote my quote of the quote? Why not just quote the first quote? The quote I quoted was the first time in the thread heroin was mentioned. I was merely responding with a counter example to implicitly imply that the hyperbole was superfluous.

There was no implication in your post from which I might infer you felt that the comparison was malformed; in fact, your only reference to the comparison was in defense of it, which apparently was intended as sarcasm.

Okay, this thread turned into what I expected.

First, this game isn't addicted. I have an outside life. I just can't seem to be drawn into like everyone is saying. Maybe because I'm a lady's man, and I need girls in my life.

Who knows ? I can't play my PS3, X360, DS, and PSP right just because I have a life outside of video games.

World of Warcraft is a fun game to play with friends and explore and level up and level up your character. Other than that its really nothing to exciting. I was playing with one of my friends the day I installed the game. And it was awesome going around worlds leveling up and doing quests.

Eventually the game got tedious and I exited it and went to sleep. Maybe because I was to tired and found something else to do, which was sleep. I haven't played WoW today, because I have some college homework to do. But in general speaking WoW is like partying. If you can control it there is absolutely no problems
