Would easily explain the delay without with even a release tentative date

I sure hope this doesn't end up like all the other franchises that seem to get one release per generation.

PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

Wouldn't surprise me if it ends up being cross-gen at the least.

Anyway, I wish they showed more about the game, they've been silent about it for almost a year.

Maybe it's just me, but this really doesn't look good to me. Aesthetically, I mean. Like, it looks like they just dumped an anime character into a real field. Either that, or they took a normal looking scene and added a bunch of bloom and depth of field effects to it for no reason to make it look more impressive.

Like ...

This just looks like a parody of the Nintendo Unreal Engine 4 fan videos.

I doubt the actual release will look this jarring honestly.

Maybe I'm crazy, but to me that looks like the copy-pasted the in-game character model into a real-world field, lol.

While I do think that part of the reason for the delay is to make the game cross-gen, I highly doubt they delayed it to make it fully next-gen. And there is no way that a cross-gen game is looking that good.

You are contradicting yourself here.

Yeah, there's kind of too much contrast between how realistic is the field and the character. Hopefully the art style looks more consistent in the final release.

EDIT: At the end of the video it says that the video game inserts shown do not represent the actual games and were created just for promotional purposes, so this most probably isn't in-game footage.

It honestly doesnt look next gen as far as graphics go. Those textures and background are ehhh, not great.
I honestly hope this is just a delay because development started too late, but they really havent show much after the original trailer.
