I played it and it is a very very good game, It is in my top 3 of xbox(Ninja Gaiden, Fable, Kindom under fire). If the sequel result to be better or equal to the original, I may even buy an Xbox360 when a price drop comes.

Cool, i never played the original, i watched soem video's on youtube, it looks like an action adventure, if so i will love it, still can't find a release date for prt 2 though, hopefully it wont be pushed back, I want it when i get my 360

I couldnt find this on a website but found this on youtube check out the gameplay on FABLE 2 looks awesome!! http://youtube.com/watch?v=-DE-hTEt79M

The original was a mix of Action, with Adventure, with RPG elements(magic, improved sowds, bows, hammers, etc), with Simulation elements(you get old with time, you can be good or bad, you can have a wife, you can customize your hair, tattos, you can be gay, a LOT of stuff). It doesnt  haves puzzles but you cant have all you want. The story was not WOW but was OK for me.

I played Fable; utterly disapointing. This comes from someone who followed Project Ego for nearly five years. Thus, with all the hype, my inevitable disapointment as the game wasn't a tenth of what it was suppose to be. I'll give Peter a second chance with number two. My expectations are so low, I'm rather sure I'll get surpised.

Putting Guns in Fable 2 would kill the essence of Fable, I mean, haven`t the 360 enough shooters and guns yet?. Fable is supposed to be swords fights, arrows and magic, why guns?, WHY??.

The dog idea should be cool, just if they put it like a fighting option, not being obligatory.

I had the grave misfortune of playing Fable. Fable is the only game I regret buying, and I bought Sudeki, Alias and Sonic 360.

It's not a shooter, it just replaces the bow from Fable 1.
I also like the fact that you can't order the dog around, he just does what he thinks his right.
For example, if you take out your gun, the dog will guard you and take out any npc charging you with a melee weapon.
If you take out your Sword, then the dog will attack any long range attackers (gunner and archers).

Fable coming from a guy that bought it @ launch: It's a GREAT game. Very solid action-adventuring. Reminds me of old school Zelda, because of its classic mix of RPG and action goodness. Graphics were superb, gameplay was pretty good. The downside was the story was garbage, and more importantly too short. The game can be beaten in under 20hrs easy. My 1st playthrough was somewhere near 25hrs....Not very difficult either. IMO, it was NOT a good game to pay $50 for @ launch....Now Lost Chapters is a diff story @ $20. If Fable 2 can incorporate more open-ended gameplay, and a longer timespan to complete, it'll certainly be one of the best 360 games ever made.
