I decided to get a wii about a month ago and went two or three days calling around for one. On a friday I found out Kmart was getting 50 in that sunday. In my mind i didnt plan on getting up early and going to kmart early because I didnt really believe the wii sold out that quick. The funny thing is I woke up at 400 am sunday morning and said screw it I might as well go to kmart and pick one up at 9 am right when the store opens. When I got there I was like the third person in the parking lot. This was at like 830 but the funny thing is as I sat there more cars pulled in and people was staring each other down waiting for others to line up outside of the store. People probably would have lined up sooner but the night before a snowstorm hit the area where I live and the roads were real bad. I dont know if anybody saw the national news or the weather channel back in march where cars were sliding all over the interstate and doing donuts there was like 30 accidents in one spot on the interstate in west virginia but anyway it was cold. I was sitting there waiting for the store to open in my car and at 845 about 20 people showed up. Not only did they show up but they started to get out of there car and run to the door of kmart. I thought these people are crazy. I stayed in my car for about 3 more minutes and watched this older people who were like 40 45 take off out of their car racing each other to get in line. On their way they slipped and fell in the ice it was crazy. They were all right though which made the situation kind of funny. I then got in line and was like the 30th person there. As soon as the door opened you had everyone racing to the back Im talking kids adults elderly people running through the store. It was outrageous. If they had counted and knew that there was only 50 in stock with 30 people in line maybe they would have never acted like that.
