Wouldn't surprise me. They might also be under DDOS attacks. Expect it to be fixed within a couple of days - this is the sort of thing that money can fix quickly. Are Nintendo doing this inhouse, or through a 3rd-party? GameSpy? Anyone know? I hope they eventually move all of this in-house...

This is insane. Another million seller for Nintendo that's a first party? How much money does Nintendo make on each game?!
Jeez, I mean Strikers wasn't even supossed to be a huge game (opposed to Prime/Brawl/Galaxy). Add those to the fact that they profit off the hardware and you got a huge amount of income. Oh wait, almost forgot about the DS, there's a few bucks there as well.

Mario Party is going to do pretty well too. Probably not great launch numbers, but I can see it selling consistently over months and years.
Too bad it didn't get better reviews.

Currently at 73% (4 reviews) - and that's primarily thanks to Edge (who reviewed the game without online play, etc..). Otherwise its had two 8's, and one 7. Lets wait until it gets a decent number of reviews before we judge it.
Also, both the guys at IGN and Penny Arcade have spoken highly of strikers.

I was afraid that would happen. Every time a new channel is launched I have a horrible time getting any online action out of the Wii. I usually can't even download the channel for a day or so.
I'm not surprised. Typical NOE handling. They says they had 100k connections first day. I don't know how much sales this amounts to.

well i was playing yesterday and i fought someone with the rank 40.000, and he did played a game.. so yea, that's an indication of how much it's selling :D, which is pretty high for europe.
