Both Sony and MS are businesses. They can't just go with "let's sell console at X amount of dollars". If let's say MS goes first and prices Series X at 399$ and then Sony announces PS5 at 599$. Then MS won't feel really great about it. Yes, they will have a huge price advantage. But they need to keep the balance. They won't feel good about not selling Series X at 499$ and not losing a lot of money on each sale.

Btw, new Control DLC is finally not being timed exclusive which is good. I'm still yet to play the first one though.

Sony wouldn't have enough left over after the timed deals they've already made to be able to afford Starfield, GTA, or CoD. FF16 is a sure thing for Sony at this point. Suicide Squad could happen, but I'm doubtful, does Sony really need both Avengers and Suicide Squad, don't see what it would do for them. 

PS2 era of domination I guess. The wording from the insider said like well known multiplat. Watch it be some dumb mode, like MUT mode, or some COD MP thing. But yeah FF 16 is for sure a timed exclusive in some way for PS5. Willing to bet my account on it

Couple of things

- Shame that MS isn’t getting rid of gold, no need to reiterate my thoughts for the 5th time

- xCloud is gunna make me switch to Android

- The Sony show today wasn’t even worth live-streaming idk what they were thinking. Way worse than the Xbox webcam show

- I don’t want MS to fight moneyhats with moneyhats rather them get real exclusives, make/buy studios, or even make big games day 1 on gamepass, any of those is much preferred.

So how many actual exclusives has XGP brought to the table? And I’m talking about real full exclusives funded and published by XGP not timed. Are the only ones they really have are Tell me Why and that other narrative game that I have already forgotten? I don’t count really FSM and Gears Tactics because they are MS owned IP and we know that Asobo pitched it to MS and Rod was responsible for Tactics.

IMO with Sony spending tons of cash on moneyhatting you would think that MS would get more aggressive too or is their focus now just securing Console Launch Exclusives that are in Gamepass day one that will eventually get ported to PlayStation and also leave Gamepass?
