Yep, Xbox production supposedly started early May, compared to late June for Sony. No idea why the are waiting until almost halfway into November to release XSX. Being the more powerful of the two, it's designed for the relatively niche enthusiast market, they could have 2m ready by late September easily if they started in May, which would probably be enough. Then they could have had 3m Series S units and another 500k Series X units ready in time for Black Friday and Cyber Monday. 

The hardware and services show in August imo equally has a lot riding on it. Live Gold status, Lockhart, price, and launch date....they seem on point so far which makes me really question a November launch for everything.

History shows you launch the same time or later as Sony you have a uphill battle. Head starts like 360 end up being winning moves for them. I hope they see that.
