Kind of a strange question, but ill ask anyway: this thread seems to be (by a wide margin) the most active on this site, and that always struck me as interesting ebcuase I feel like the xbox fans are the smallest cohort on VGChartz. Do you all have any theory as to why this thread is the most active of all the others?

I say the PC Gaming thread is the most active on VGChartz imo but it's mainly due to 2 users keeping it alive lol. It's mainly about hardware though. 

But, I say XE is active as it is mainly because there's a lot of news/rumors that's posted, plus discussion and updates on the ActiBlizz purchase, and game talk in general about what someone might be playing. 

I can't answer for everyone but the original empire thread did a good job of building a community and that's still felt to this day. Also the toxic environment outside the thread kinda helped us bond together LOL But nowadays, this site is dead I'm not even sure if xbox fans are the minority by a large margin anymore.

I'm not sure on monthly active users on the forums, but at least with articles the number of views and comments have improved over the last couple of years.
