Phil already tested the water with Bethesda games skipping Playstation. Not much backslash there because those games won't be exclusive. We all know Xbox has no exclusives. How do we know it? Sonyboys been banging that drum for years.

Phil's got them dancing like puppets. It's all set for CoD console exclusivity ;)

HBO should re-shoot Game of Thrones final and make Phil sit on the throne!

Same here, based on my personal gaming tastes, the cost of each of the publishers, and the market impact of each of the 4, my ranking would have been:

  1. WB- The cheapest of the 4, at least for the studios, though licensing the DC and Harry Potter IP's for those studios to work on could have cost a good bit. They have many great studios, DC IP to counter Sony's recent Marvel exclusives, and crucially a fighting studio which Xbox needs, which could go back and forth between Mortal Kombat and Killer Instinct. 
  2. Ubisoft- The 2nd cheapest of the 4, with many great IP's like Assassin's Creed, Watch Dogs, Far Cry, and more. The only downside to acquiring would be that their huge size with like 40+ studios would make them difficult to manage.
  3. EA- 2nd most expensive of the 4, but for that price Xbox gets Bioware back working on Xbox exclusives again like the old days, Respawn back working on Xbox exclusives again like Titanfall 1, Jedi: Fallen Order 2 to compete with Sony's KOTOR 2 timed exclusivity, day one gamepass on EA Sports games (exclusivity would never be allowed by the various sports franchises), Maxis sim stuff for pushing PC gamepass. 
  4. Activision- The most expensive of the 4, but for that money you get CoD, Diablo, Overwatch, a near guaranteed WoW port for Xbox, and possible revivals for Crash an/or Spyro, 2 platformers which would cover a gap in Xbox's current 1st party which is totally devoid of a key platformer franchise.

By the Big 4 I meant Take-Two not WB.

CoD games tend to do well in Japan and could help the Series X/S sales there which means for Japanese support.

If it’s not exclusive there it won’t mean much, even if it’s Gamepass day one it would not entice Japanese gamers to make the switch over. 

Who knows maybe if MS were smart enough they would make it exclusive to Xbox in Japan only.

I don't know but I was thinking about that this morning. I really believe that Sony cannot compete with Microsoft anymore. No matter where they are today, Microsoft is going to stomp them is they stay independant at this rate.

So either Sony merge with WB, Tencent or EA...

Or (and I really think this can happen), they got aquired by Apple or Amazon... Which is in my oppinion the best outcome for Sony.

Then we are going to live in a very interresting generation :)
