It can’t be as bad as Guardians was.

That's most likely why 343 brought Joe Staten back to lead the campaign because they could not have another Guardians.

Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

who will be laughing in the end, when it ends up true

Now can we move onto what we will be getting at launch? My main worries with Infinite were always story and content, I'm feeling cautiously optimistic on story but I'm just cautious with content, Lol. I hope they do a blog post fairly soon, even if it's just images, detailing all the maps and game-modes we will have on launch, thus far they've still only confirmed about 5 maps and a few game-modes...

I'm not worried about content. Even if co-op and Forge are delayed. I'd expect new content added to multiplayer fairly regularly.

I am to an extent. I'm not worried so much about co-op and forge but more the multiplayer. Mainly because since it's free to play, there can't be just 5 maps in total and a few game modes at launch. That would be insanely barebones and 343 would loose a lot of players very quickly because they'll get bored by the same few maps and modes. Especially if we're looking at new content, besides cosmetic, dropping every few months.

I'm hoping in the final few weeks leading up to launch, 343 will announce the full suite of maps and modes that'll be there at launch.

I am assuming there will be more than 5 maps at launch and more than just the few modes we saw in the tech previews. That is still better than Battle Royale games that have one or two modes and just one map that gets an update once every 10 or so weeks.

I'm assuming that as well. While true, Battle Royale maps are substantial in size and it takes quite a while before most players start to get tired of a map because there's so many places for you to go to. Compare that to Halo maps, where 4 of them are arena size. I can see players feeling like they've experienced the map enough very quickly and want a new one.

I'm fine with it regardless, but Infinite wants to have a healthy player count at all times.

My hopes for Halo Infinite content on release:

Arena Maps- 8
Big Team Battle Maps- 6

Game Modes
Ranked

  • Team Slayer
  • Team Doubles
  • Team Objective
  • Team SWAT
  • Team Snipers
  • Team MLG

Social

  • Team Slayer
  • Team Objective
  • Free For All
  • Infection
  • Griffball
  • Big Team Slayer
  • Big Team Objective

14 maps would be a decent amount at launch with one or two maps and maybe a new mode or two added each season. I know it is overplayed but I am hoping for another Blood Gulch remake.

With it being Halo's 20th anniversary, I can see them remaking Blood Gulch and Hang Em High for old times sake :)

I think we need a remake of the Halo: CE map - CHIRON TL-34. The one with the million teleporters. I remember how insane that map was with 12-16 players and with rockets.

I remember that one!! That would be wild as crap! Definitely would be a ton of fun to play as most players that will be checking out Infinite will most likely have never experienced a map like that before lol

Make a thread about it

Yes but make the source a direct link to that Chartz post where he links to his own Twitter ?
