Deadly Premonition 2
Trials of Mana Remake (best looking Square remake of 2020)
Bravely Default 2

Switch is all about those cult classic sequels next year. That's cool.

Xenoblade Chronicles Remake counts?

Will this one force me to beat it 8 times?

That's why they  put a II in this one :)

Honestly though, they learned from it with Second so I'm not worried.

I'm actually thinking based on the trend with the titles of Bravely games there may be some hidden meaning in the title.

So what is that II gonna mean ?

Can't wait for the speculation ! Wonder if it could have anything to do with the Bravely Sword ?

Anyway, I'm super excited for the sequel to one of my JRPG tops of this decade, coming with probably some incredible musical pieces by Revo once again !

I dunno.  People are assuming it's the roman numeral 2, but it could be two i's.  Or a word with two i's in it somewhere.  Or could somehow represent a connection between 2 worlds, presumably the last one and this one.  Dunno what exactly but considering how obviously weird the title is, and how this series is with titles, I'd wager that's not the actual title.

Yes indeed. Amazing series.

Bite my shiny metal cockpit!

Those locations shown in the trailer look great. Really looking forward to see some gameplay and town/world map exploration (the towns better have a lot more depth to them than in the 3DS games).

Don't know, the hand drawn look they had going on is kinda up my alley honestly, I wouldn't mind them using this technique again.

Oh no, I wasn't saying they should drop the hand drawn style (I even said I think the locations shown in the trailer look great), I was just saying the towns could have more depth to them which doesn't necessarily mean dropping the the current art style.

I liked Bravely Default.
I loved Octopath Traveler.

Kinda disappointed it isn't Octopath Traveler 2.  However, I feel this dev team has a lot of promise and is steadily improving in their ability to make games.  So, I'm hoping they make Bravely Default 2 something amazing.  I'm hopeful, but I'm gonna wait for the reviews before I decide to buy.

Meh. It'll be a 3DS level JRPG for the price of $60, and they'll port it to PC within a year. Not getting my money this time.

Exactly what I was thinking. More towards to 3DS/PS2 level JRPG though.

OT is done by a different team the games only have the same producers OT2 is already confirmed to be on the way.

I really wish that they had advanced the graphics. It basically still looks like it's still running on 3DS, only at a higher resolution.

Yeah, this is classic 3rd party "lets not take the Switch's capabilities seriously since it's less powerful than Ps4/xbox." Rather disappointing. I'm sure Switch owners would eat up a jrpg that got top notch treatment.

That is good to know.  I guess because they have the same producers I've always heard them associated with one another.

I'm definitely looking forward to the next Octopath Traveler.
