If I'm not mistaken Disgaea 3 sold the first week bout 80.000 and that for a known brand... if this game could sell about the same... then I guess no ones has to whine about it really... for a new IP, indeed with guns (not particular famous with the Japanese), it sure would be pretty good.

58,000. So if it does around that it'd actually be amazing. Considering that and Radiant Dawns 76,000 opening.

It's a shame how niche SRPGs are... well for me. They're my favorite genre.

Seems they only sell on handhelds... sad cause i hate handhelds.  Even then it takes the FF brand name to sell 150K.

However I agree with Onna and  Kas, strategic RPG is a niche genre ( I mean the last Fire Emblem for Wii sold about 170K units ) although this title seems a very good quality one.

A game for ps3 with this numbers bomb. A game for ps3 / xbox360 must sold about 400.000 for do profits.

A game of wii with 100.000 do profits
But sega again doing games for hd consoles.

and do all his effort in doing game for the others

But if a game sold 500.000 only do 100.00 of profits. If you invert a money two years and only profits a 25% is bomb. But not import this to sega mario and sonic patch his losses.

This game is probably very good, but I smell yet another under-performance by a PS3 title. Sony needs Final Fantasy, and they need it now!
