what is the fastest car allowed for the Daytona Single Lap race?

Not sure, but my first car, the Honda Integra, can win that race. It's 50/50 for me. I come in first or second. Stupid Mini Cooper :).

(oh, and my guess is the car that wins every time is the fastest, the Mini)

 It's a great way to make money 5-7.5k a lap :)

 I think it's a drafting thing. That and make sure you play in manual transmission mode. I think it shifts faster if you shift it. You can tell if your going to catch the Mini by how you come out of the second turn, if your past the second bunch of cars, your in good shape. Half the time they bump be when I try to pass the first set (squeeze against the wall), and then it's second place for me.

Also, try taking the second grouping low. That seems to help sometimes.

Turn off the traction and the ABS. It becomes harder to drive, but you go much faster.

Oh, and the Lotus Elises are so overrated. Ferrari is what champs drive.

 If I could find a Ferrari for 54k credits, I would be all over it ;). It's day one, and I am poor :p 

Im on day one as well, and Ive got 5 cars and 175k credits with A class unlocked. Im 60k away!

Seriously people I got the Mini and won the Daytona track easily... just step on gas, stay on the inside lane in curves and that's it. Now do the same with a Subaru Impreza and you can win with up to 20 seconds against your opponents. :)
