I saw the title and thought selnor would not be trolling Sony or the PS3, just look how wrong i was.

it never copied the xbox marketplace though. it used one of it's own interfaces from the singstore. how can you even compare the 2? the only similarity is that the store is built into the software.

sony didn't take psn seriously when it was first introduced. the MAIN reason why it has improved vastly since launch was because the community demanded it. not because the 360 had it.

The photos were slow to load when I first downloaded it, but today they load almost instantly. I think it was a case of EVERYONE logging onto the store yesterday. Definately an improvement over xbox live in terms of looks.

that's because they're both software based. but that is the only similarity. i have AND use both, they are not similar in any other way. stop trying to make it seem like it was a direct copy.

You can complain that it should have been there (like people will do about everything), but it's interesting that this thread is telling me that cool updates like this aren't a good thing when seems that these features are coming out because the community of PS3 owners is requesting it. What I've read in a nutshell is that because everything wasn't perfect upon launch, everything they do after that isn't good enough. I don't believe Xbox Live was perfect when it first came out and I'm glad that we can get big improvements like this with our PS3's, 360's and Wii's. Either it's bad because it's a free network or because it's like something else.

Also as somebody else said, the image thing is just an issue with it just coming out. When the text loads up to describe what it is you're highlighting is when you can actually start to navigate. So when the user went into the top store downloads at about 18 seconds, it only took about 4-5 seconds to load up what was needed to navigate through the store. Sure, it's a little annoying that the images are taking a while to load up, but it's in no way breaking of the ability to use the store. For me, it doesn't take nerealy as long for the images to load up as it did the user in this video, maybe a few seconds and that's it.

i don't get it, why would you call me a fanboy? because i disagree with you? i haven't put down any console in this thread, i have merely disagreed with your posts. that word fanboy is used like oxygen these days.
