Heres the new PSN store. And to say the least it's basically a copy of Xbox Live. However it's incredably slow. The video is 3m 58s, and the first image doesnt come through for well over 1m. I dont know if this is because Sony making it free means less man power to PSN, because if being free isnt why PSN is struggling then it's purely poor programming. MS got it right first time, why cant Sony?(2nd time) Hell if £5 a month would help I'd pay it. Now everyone has to wait for a patch at some stage to speed this up.

It's slow because they just put it up yesterday, and everyone had to download it and stuff. In other videos, it's very slick and fast-moving.

The new store is so awesome :) I LOVE the new layout ^_^ Your right Selnor, it's just like Live! Only... if live didn't suck ass and look terrible xD This is so much cleaner.

First time i used it the only thing I noticed that was a slight issue was the the images didn't load quickly enough, the store as a whole, entering, navigating was very nice and easier to explore then the old one. Although changing the 'Classics' section to PSP might make people think not to look at them as they do not have a PSP, while those games work on PS3 also...unless they are lsited else where?

and this is a copy of the store from singstar. the marketplace looks nothing like it.

you can still view/download content without the having the pictures load. it's such a big improvement over the last store though that a few kinks are no big deal.

no, the design has been changed because the playstation community wanted it to change. same as why they are adding in-game xmb. not because ms does it so good, it's because the community that they are serving are voicing their opinion.

if the ps blog wasn't created, half of what the ps3 has right now wouldn't be there. obviously they look at how ms do it and try to build on it, but they aren't adding these features just because ms have it.

the icon loading is improving everyday. i just tried it now and it's getting a lot faster.
