I go to the club all the time, and have been going for 12 years now. It's better with friends, but I have also gone alone. Look for clubs with multiple rooms, so you can listen to different types of music if you get bored with a song. Try to find nights where you don't have to pay a cover. Ladies usually get in for free/much less than guys. I would just say look confident, and don't be afraid to approach people and dance.

I've never picked up a girl in the club, but I have made out with some girls in the club. As people have said before, girls aren't really looking to get picked up...more like they are looking to show off. Prepare to be rejected and get a bunch of dirty looks from taken girls and jealous guys. That's why it's better to be with some friends at first until you can navigate the scene better. Also, fights break out all the time, so be ready for that.

My ideal clubbing situation is going with just one person who will dance with you the whole time. I hope you enjoy your first nightlife experience!

I used to grind on girls. I'd say 1 in 5 wouldn't mind. I wasnt looking for a wife. I remember this one girl stephanie. She was wasted. I walked up to her and started making out. I haven't been to a club in 15 years now.

Dont be scared of rejection. It's a numbers game. Confidence will come with time.

They will realize that this is the final chance, this is it now. All or nothing! And then they will rise, clumsily standing up, stumble towards each other, grunting something totally incomprehensible, laughing about absolutely nothing then falling into each others open arms and sticking the tongue into their mouths. This unromantic and unappetizing experience is actually the true reason why somebody would want to go clubbing. Scored!

Otherwise, just enjoy yourself there, have fun and don't mind if your dancing skills are awkward, that's okay. All eyes on you! Give it all you've got!

Well reading your post seems like not much has changed since I last went 15 years ago.

This is what I told you a few months back (well especially the bold).

Life has changed a lot in the last 15 years. Life is way harder now than it was way back 15 or 20 years ago in the good old days! It would be crazy to go anywhere on your own after midnight when anything can happen.

The most crucial part of clubbing is never missing the holy ritual of pre-drinks. Always have pre-drinks at your or your friend's house before heading off to the club. In that way you won't have to buy lots of drinks at the bar.

And ALWAYS go out with friends. Because, if you fail at picking up girls, at least you can have fun with friends.

I go clubbing often. Happily pick up a guy most nights too.

My advice is:
* Pre-Drink to save money.
* Bring friends if you are socially awkward.
* Wear good clothes.
* Smell nice.
* Always watch your drink in-case it gets spiked.
* Always bring protection. (Condoms)
* Don't drive.
* Be confident and have fun.
