Forums - General Discussion - [class action lawsuit] Attention gamers who are on a cable internet connection

YOU MIGHT HAVE A BAD CABLE MODEM!

If you're experiencing random lag, disconnects, and problems with the Internet that appear to be originating at your local ends and not just because of something like DDoSing. Then problem is not you or your internet!

The Intel Puma 6 chipset, which was used on a lot of cable modems distributed through Time Warner, Spectrum, Cox, Comcast, and other ISPs knew there was a bug in this chipset even when it was released in 2015, but most ISPs just pretended it didn't exist.

(check this website for a list of all known models that have the bad Intel Puma 6 chipset)

Now it looks like there is a class action lawsuit on the way. If your cable modem is on the list, check this website out, you can be compensated, New Investigation into Cable Modem Chipset Defect

Lawyers is waiting and standing by!
