Anyway, streaming is the future just not the whole future.  I see consoles, steam, apple game apps, android game apps, streaming, etc.  All being a part of the giant game industry for long into the future.

For this statement I am agree, console local hardware gaming and streaming can co exist and enhanced each other experience  . But many casual and investor is not agree with this. Just look on how the investor react to the Stadia reveal and Sony and Nintendo shares just down 4,6 %.

in utopia world , every business aspect  are supporting each other. But in reality, especially capitalism economy it will never happen. Especially when big giant monopoly company start to say " this will replace traditional console". Is like saying to all long times consol/PC  gamer  "we are your enemy   and will destroy your hobby ".

Around the Network

I was curious so I checked on the stocks of the Big 3, and for the most part, Nintendo and Microsoft seem largely unaffected, but Sony has taken a significant hit. I'm not very big into stocks, so I don't check that often, but it's interesting because Nintendo's stock seems to be jumping up and down quite a lot, as though there are some gigantic trades being made, causing the graph to seemingly jump between prices instead of moving there on a curve.

Not that it means much; it's fairly predictable that investors would think it a good time to cash out when something disruptive occurs.

Edit: The person before me beat me to the punch.
